Citi in Bogota is seeking an REM analyst to conduct holistic risk evaluations of KYC profiles and high-risk client attributes to determine onboarding or continued relationships from an AML perspective.

Responsibilities include reviewing Client Information, Ownership Structure, Name Screening, EDD, Product Profile, and Local Requirements, identifying root causes, and escalating issues as needed.

Formación

• 3+ years of AML experience or equivalent in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree and AML Certification preferred.
• Proficient in English; Portuguese preferred are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Understand global KYC policies, standards and procedures.
• Assess KYC Profile components to support client disposition.
• Identify interconnected risks within a KYC Profile.
• Independently investigate risk components to understand context.
• Provide clear, concise risk analyses supporting disposition decisions.
• Disposit the KYC Profile in a timely and effective manner.
• Advise from AML perspective on issues escalated by the business.
• Escalate AML concerns or significant suspicious activities to senior management.
• Review risk overrides in applicable systems; support management with metrics.
• Ability to review high-risk profiles (Category A Negative News, AML issues).
