StoneX Group Inc. in Bogotá is seeking an entry-level software developer to assist in developing, testing, and maintaining applications under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will write clean code, fix simple bugs, participate in code reviews, and learn software development best practices while collaborating with a hybrid team in Bogota. Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining applications
• Write clean, basic code under guidance of senior engineers

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferably Computer Science major)
• 0-2 years of work experience (This is an entry level position)
• Basic knowledge of programming (Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript)
• Understanding of OOP concepts
• Familiarity with databases (SQL basics preferred)
• Willingness to learn and take feedback
• Must be authorized to work in Columbia for any employer

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Git or any version control tool
• Exposure to web development or APIs

• Hybrid - 4 days in-office at Bogota office & the flexibility of working from home 1 day a week
