WSP is seeking a Junior Project Controls Analyst in Colombia to support project control plans, track budget and schedule performance, and help define baselines and WBS for multiple projects.

You will work with senior managers and multidisciplinary teams to mitigate risks and deliver accurate reporting. A strong English proficiency and a background in project control tools are essential.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Project Management, Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in project controls or cost controls within consulting, engineering, or construction environments.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Financial tools, Excel, forecasting and financial variance analysis.
• Experience with MS Project and/or Primavera P6; ERP or project financial systems experience is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and confidence working with senior project team members.
• Mandatory English proficiency, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages, verbally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and execute project control plans to support contractual obligations across a variety of projects.
• Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of planned value, actual cost, earned value, and schedule performance.
• Support the development of baseline budgets and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to manage project hours and expenses.
• Identify variances and recommend corrective actions to mitigate cost, schedule, or performance risks.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, billing packages, and financial accruals to support strong project financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of reporting packages for project managers, leaders, and corporate stakeholders.
• Contribute to cost management, quality, change management, and risk management plans.
• Coordinate invoicing processes, compile monthly invoices, track approvals, and manage subcontractor payments and accounts receivable.
• Produce comprehensive project reports for project teams, clients, and senior leadership as required.
