GFT Technologies Colombia is seeking a Junior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend solutions for enterprise systems. You will work under the guidance of senior team members and gain hands-on experience with Java 17+, Spring Framework, Spring Batch, Oracle SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, use Bitbucket and Jira, and contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.

Formación

Proficient with Java 17+ and modern back-end tech.
Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Batch.
Exposure to Oracle SQL and data access patterns.
Familiarity with database migrations (Flyway).
Understanding of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins) and source control (Bitbucket/Git).

Responsabilidades

Support design, development, and maintenance of backend apps using Java 17+ and Spring (2.x+).
Assist in implementing and testing batch processing solutions under guidance.
Help develop data access layers and SQL logic for Oracle DB.
Support database schema changes and migrations with Flyway.
Use Bitbucket for version control, PRs, and reviews.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
Write clean, maintainable code applying SOLID principles.
Leverage LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to assist development tasks.
Track tasks with Jira and participate in technical discussions.
