Auxis is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead complex technology transitions across IT infrastructure, service desk, and end-user computing environments in Bogotá, Colombia. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT operations background and a track record of delivering large-scale migrations on time and within scope.

The role requires steering end-to-end IT projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and delivering thorough documentation and updates to leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder reporting and executive updates.
• Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end IT projects, from planning through go-live and hypercare.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure or service delivery.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, endpoint management, and service desk operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual B2+ English (Spanish)

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage full project lifecycle across IT migration and transition initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify, track, and report project risks and issues, with clear mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with IT teams, business stakeholders, end users, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure testing plans, deployment strategies, and rollback procedures are defined and executed.
• Provide oversight on infrastructure design decisions and technology configurations.
• Evaluate current-state environments against best practices and recommend improvements.
• Guide technical teams during implementation, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and oversee creation of technical documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including assessment reports, transition procedures, and lessons learned.
• Ensure all documentation meets client standards and is kept current throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the development of training materials for internal IT teams and end users.
• Deliver regular status reports and project dashboards to leadership and stakeholders.
