A leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior Auditor for its cybersecurity assessment team in Madrid. The role involves conducting cybersecurity audits and assessments for various clients. Applicants should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards, and a CISA certification. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for up to 60% remote work.
About the Role: Our client is looking for a Senior Auditor to join its cybersecurity assessment and certification team. This professional will play a key role in conducting audits, assessments, and certifications for both national and international clients. The position aims to strengthen the technical capabilities of the Operations department while contributing to the development of new services and products.
Conduct and lead assessments of cybersecurity measures implemented by clients.
Carry out extended audits for customers seeking certification or rating within the financial sector.
Perform desktop audits as part of assessment services.
Lead National Security Framework (ENS) certification audits as an accredited Lead Auditor.
Enhance the technical expertise of the Operations team in delivering high-quality audits.
Contribute to the design and implementation of new cybersecurity products and services.
The Senior Auditor will report directly to the Audit Manager, who will provide guidance and support for professional development.
Education & Knowledge
Higher education in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field).
Advanced level of English (C1 or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks, both national and international.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience conducting IT and cybersecurity audits.
Professional certifications such as CISA (or equivalent).
Soft Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills (Spanish and English).
Ability to summarize and present complex issues clearly and concisely.
Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset.
Team player with a responsible, methodical, and organized approach.
Flexible, eager to learn, and with strong negotiation skills.
Hybrid work model: based in Madrid (remote work allowed up to 60% of weekly hours).
