Kyndryl is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist in Bogotá to lead virtualization and migration initiatives, working on Windows/Linux environments, and collaborating with clients to design, implement, migrate, and integrate infrastructure solutions.

You will engage early to assess feasibility, manage risk, and deliver hands-on virtualization projects using VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Storage SAN, with strong problem-solving and English communication.

Formación

• At least five years in x86 server migration or related IT infrastructure.
• Strong Windows and Linux OS knowledge.
• VMware vCenter/ESXi and Hyper-V experience.
• Active Directory, DNS and DHCP setup.
• Storage SAN integration and networking for virtualized environments.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Experience in cloud migrations (on-prem to cloud).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• English proficiency: Intermediate to advanced.

Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure – good at providing analysis, documenting and diagramming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally \"figuring it out.\" This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.

You’ll be involved early to offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify the technical and timeline risks up front. Required Technical and Professional Experience

Specialist in Wintel Infrastructure Implementation and Virtualization

Job Objective

Design, implement, migrate, and integrate virtualization solutions based on VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V, participating in infrastructure transformation projects, platform consolidation, and technology modernization, ensuring compliance with availability, performance, and security standards.

Main Responsibilities

• More than 5 years of experience in x86 server/application migration or related IT infrastructure roles.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• VMware vCenter/ESXi/Microsoft Hyper-V/ Failover Clustering implementation and migration experience.
• Implementación de Active Directory, DNS y DHCP

• Networking for virtualized environments.
• PowerShell.
• Experience carrying out migration or technology transformation projects.
