Overview and Key Responsibilities

At Prysmian, we are looking for an IT Applications Professional based in Bogotá, Colombia, who will be responsible for supporting and managing corporate information systems and technology platforms, monitoring and managing incidents and requests relating to applications, managing and documenting IT processes, and participating in IT projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Handle, support and/or resolve tickets relating to incidents, requests and changes for IT applications, particularly for SAP 1C ERP.
• Ensure and maintain continuous improvement of processes within IT applications, particularly for SAP 1C ERP.
• Manage and support the development cycle and proper use of technology platforms, particularly SAP ERP.
• Deliver training for users on the modules and processes of the SAP 1C ERP system.
• Act as a Business Partner with business units, identifying improvements to processes or applications and defining new solutions that meet business needs (efficiencies, automation, synergies, simplification, digitalisation, etc.).
• Drive, develop and implement initiatives, projects and processes for SAP 1C ERP at global, regional and local levels.
• Support local and regional IT governance.
• Support the achievement of departmental targets, as well as the establishment, improvement and dissemination of IT processes.

Who are we looking for?

• Qualified in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telematics, Telecommunications, Electronics or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in a related field is desirable.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in relevant roles.
• Comprehensive administration and functional support for SAP ERP, particularly for operations in manufacturing companies: PP, QM, PM and APO modules; upper-intermediate English; project management; supplier and budget management.
• Knowledge of processes at Manufacturing Execution System (MES) level.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate proficiency in SQL Server / SAP Hana databases.

Visión general y principales funciones

En Prysmian estamos buscando un@ Profesional de aplicaciones TI con base en Bogotá, Colombia quien estará encargado de soportar y gestionar los sistemas de información y plataformas tecnológicas corporativas, control y gestión de los incidentes y requerimientos respecto a las aplicaciones, gestión y documentación de los procesos IT y participación de proyectos de IT.

Principales responsabilidades

• Atender, Soportar y/o Resolver los tiquetes con relación a incidentes, requerimientos y cambios para las aplicaciones IT en especial para el ERP SAP 1C.
• Proveer, mantener la mejora continua de los procesos dentro de las aplicaciones de TI, en especial para el ERP SAP 1C.
• Gestionar y Apoyar con el ciclo de desarrollo y buen uso de las plataformas tecnológicas, en especial ERP SAP.
• Realizar entrenamientos para los usuarios a nivel de los módulos y procesos para el ERP SAP 1C.
• Actuar como Business Partner con las áreas de negocio, identificando mejoras en el proceso o aplicación y definiendo nuevas soluciones que den respuesta a las necesidades de negocio (eficiencias, automatización, sinergias, simplificación, digitalización, etc.).
• Impulsar, desarrollar e implementar las iniciativas, proyectos y procesos para el ERP SAP 1C a nivel global, regional y local.
• Apoyar al gobierno de TI Local y Regional.
• Apoyar al cumplimiento de los indicadores del área, así como al establecimiento, mejoramiento y divulgación de los procesos de TI.

¿A quién buscamos?

• Profesional en Ingeniería de Sistemas, Computación, Telemática, Telecomunicaciones, Electrónica o afines. Deseable posgrado en áreas afines.
• De 3 a 5 años de experiencia en cargos relacionados.
• Administración integral y soporte funcional del ERP SAP en especial de operaciones en empresas de manufactura: módulos PP, QM, PM, APO; inglés intermedio-alto, Gestión de proyectos. Gestión de proveedores y presupuesto.
• Conocimiento de los procesos a nivel de Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Manejo avanzado de Office.
• Manejo a nivel intermedio de bases de datos SQL Server / SAP Hana.
