Fitch Ratings is offering an Internship in the Finance Department in our Bogotá office. You will support the Finance team with day-to-day activities, maintain financial records, and assist with invoicing and payments as part of a learning-focused internship.

The role targets a SENA student with strong numerical and analytical abilities, Excel proficiency, and good communication in Spanish; English knowledge is a plus.

Formación

• Pursuing studies at SENA with focus on finance or accounting.
• Little to no prior professional experience; internship or academic experience in finance is a plus.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication in Spanish; English a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day financial and administrative activities.
• Maintain and organize financial records and databases.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing activities.
• Support process-improvement initiatives in Finance.

Intern (SENA) – Finance Department

Fitch Ratings is seeking a Finance Intern (SENA) to join our Bogotá office.

The Finance Department at Fitch Ratings is responsible for financial management, cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and administrative support for Fitch Colombia.

What You Will Do

• Support the Finance team with day-to-day financial and administrative activities.
• Maintain and organize financial records, files, and databases.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing activities, as needed.
• Support process-improvement initiatives and other Finance projects.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You Need To Have

• Currently studying at SENA.
• Little to no prior professional experience; previous internship or academic experience in finance is a plus.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business software.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• English speaking and writing proficiency is a plus.

• Interest in corporate finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, or financial operations.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, administrative processes, and basic reporting concepts.
• Experience using Excel for data analysis, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
