AgileEngine is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, emphasizing automation, tooling, and incident management. You will monitor with observability tooling, manage incidents end-to-end including root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews, and onboard new clients onto the platform.

Day-to-day work includes building automation, diagnostic tooling, capacity planning, and delivering process

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes in production (4+ years).
• Linux fundamentals and CLI proficiency.
• Experience with public cloud providers (Azure/AWS).
• Strong debugging across app to infra layers.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across cloud environments.
• Leverage observability tooling and runbooks for actionable alerts.
• Manage end-to-end incidents including RCA and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients on the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual work and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software/hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

MUST HAVES

• Hands-on experience of at least 4 years operating Kubernetes in production, ideally with Service Mesh.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, from the application layer through to lower-level infrastructure.
• Experience working with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo is a plus.
• Scripting or coding in Python or Java is a strong plus.
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Helm or Terraform is a plus.
• Financial services background is not required.
