AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds. The role includes automation, tooling, and incident management to ensure scalable, reliable service delivery.

You will work with Grafana/Prometheus-based observability, onboard new clients, and drive automation initiatives. Remote/office-flexible arrangements supported as part of a modern, people-first culture.

Formación

• Hands-on experience of operating Kubernetes in production (4+ years).
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems from application to infrastructure.
• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts with up-to-date runbooks and documentation.
• Manage incidents end-to-end: response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

MUST HAVES

• Hands-on experience of at least 4 years operating Kubernetes in production, ideally with Service Mesh.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, from the application layer through to lower-level infrastructure.
• Experience working with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo is a plus.
• Scripting or coding in Python or Java is a strong plus.
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Helm or Terraform is a plus.
• Financial services background is not required.
