TD SYNNEX in Bogotá is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialist to apply payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies in a high‑volume environment. You will analyze payment histories, research misapplications, and support the Credit and Collections team while coordinating with other departments.

The role requires English proficiency, an accounting or related degree (preferred) and strong data analysis, Excel and SAP skills.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting or other Business Discipline preferred but not required.
• Extensive work experience can be substituted for formal education.
• High accuracy and attention to details.
• Ability to be proactive and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
• Good communication with colleagues, management and stakeholders from different cultures.
• Ability to analyze data concisely and provide clear analysis for senior management.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and apply payments to customer accounts accurately.
• Scan checks to bank and reconcile deposits with totals.
• Validate postings and reconcile payments posted against received checks.
• Research and resolve misapplications and discrepancies on accounts.
• Administer direct debit processes for incoming payments.
• Reconcile credit card collections/processing with statements.
• Provide general support to Credit and Collections teams.
• Assist with additional reporting requirements as needed.
