Job summary

Newell Brands in Colombia is seeking an Ignition MES Specialist to join our global Manufacturing Execution Systems team and support Latin America operations. The role focuses largely on remote technical development within the Ignition MES platform, designing, programming, configuring, and enhancing solutions.

Qualifications

4–6+ years of experience with Ignition MES in manufacturing settings.
Hands-on development, programming, and integration with PLCs.
Experience connecting Ignition to equipment, databases, and ERPs.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance applications within Ignition MES platform.
Design MES screens, reports, interfaces, and workflows.
Connect Ignition to PLCs, devices, and databases.
Aggregate production data from plant equipment.
Collaborate with Plant Engineering and global teams to implement solutions.
Support installations, upgrades, testing, and go-live activities.
Provide MES analytics and reporting to improve reliability and performance.
Develop technical documentation and best practices.
Collaborate remotely with Latin American sites.
