A leading automotive company is seeking a candidate for a hybrid business development role focusing on independent aftermarket (IAM) in Colombia and Ecuador. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and over 4 years of business-related experience. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, implementing performance metrics, and working closely with various teams to optimize IAM strategies. Proficiency in English and strong analytical skills are required.

Formación

  • 4+ years of relevant business experience preferred.
  • Intermediate English proficiency is required.
  • Knowledge and experience in after-sales (spare parts or accessories).

The Role

Identify business opportunities in coverage and performance for IAM (independent Aftermarket) in CCA for Colombia and Ecuador.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities in coverage and performance for IAM (independent Aftermarket) in CCA for Colombia and Ecuador
  • Define and implement a regional methodology to calculate Coverage and performance in the IAM. Support the report strategy related to IAM metrics
  • Work closely with sales and product marketing team to understand market needs and drive improvements by identifying trends and areas of opportunity, providing a clear perspective, and proposing business solutions related to IAM for improving coverage and performance
  • Work together with global teams for implementing new methodologies and process, which support the IAM strategy, in order to align the regional strategy to the corporate, optimizing resources.
  • Develop regional processes by engaging commercial teams to design and implement measurement and control functions, while making improvements against effectiveness and efficiency targets.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business Administration, economics, science, engineering or related fields
  • 4+ years relevant prior business experience (e.g., sales, sales admin, marketing, product management, pricing, operations and/or supply chain, data analytics) preferred
  • Advanced Office Package.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Knowledge and experience in after-sales (spare parts or accessories).
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic and data-driven mindset.
  • Manage execution of strategy through and with others.
  • Strong financial focus and acumen to drive profitable choices.
  • Availability to work in the 3x2 hybrid model in our offices located in Bogotá, Colombia.
  • Availability to travel internationally and locally on a recurring basis.
