IBM Consulting is seeking a Technical Consultant focused on Threat Detection Response & Intelligence in Bogotá. You will identify, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats across client environments, using SIEM/XDR tools and threat intelligence to drive rapid incident response.

Responsibilities include triage, RCA, IOC analysis, and collaboration with teams to enhance detections aligned with MITRE ATT&CK. Hybrid work arrangement with growth opportunities and global impact.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong experience in advanced log and event analysis.
• Proven ability to perform alert correlation and deep investigation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced analysis of security events and logs across data sources.
• Correlate events, review logs, analyze alerts, and validate true positives.
• Execute incident triage, classification, and prioritization by risk.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify incident origins.
• Analyze IOCs and threat vectors to support detection and investigations.
• Apply threat intelligence feeds to improve client-specific detections.
• Tune and optimize SIEM/XDR platforms in collaboration with the team.
• Communicate findings and escalate incidents per defined procedures.
