Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks an experienced SAP Business Analyst to support finance operations within Mission Systems. The role bridges business users and technical teams, providing SAP best practices while ensuring compliance with government contract requirements.

The position emphasizes SAP finance processes, S/4HANA transformations, and end-user support, requiring strong analytical skills and deep ERP integration knowledge across contracts, planning, supply chain and logistics.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ERP experience in finance.
• Experience with grouping, pegging, and distribution (GPD).
• Knowledge of finance processes and their integration with contracts, planning, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and logistics functions.
• Experience with SAP project systems (PS) and valuated/non-valuated cost flows.
• Ability to diagnose GPD related problems and understand cost shifts and inventory implications.
• Aerospace/Defense industry experience and knowledge of government contracting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as functional subject matter expert for SAP finance processes, delivering end-user support and ensuring alignment with organizational policies and government contract requirements.
• Develop and deliver training materials, process documentation and standard operating procedures for system adoption.
• Sustain SAP operations through issue resolution, validation of changes, and knowledge base management.
• Support enterprise finance digital initiatives, including requirements gathering, testing, training, and Go Live support.
• Participate in the SAP S/4HANA transformation project to support finance workstreams.
