O-I Glass in Envigado, Colombia is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise AI solutions across the business. You will build AI agents, integrate with Microsoft Fabric and data platforms, and ensure security and governance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to move opportunities from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in AI, data science, computer science, data analytics, software engineering or related disciplines.
• At least three years of relevant experience in AI engineering, software engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, automation, or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying generative AI applications, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI-enabled workflows in production.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with APIs, software development practices, source control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Azure and Microsoft AI technologies (AI Foundry, Copilot) and Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms.
• Understanding of orchestration patterns, memory, knowledge retrieval, guardrails, observability, and human approval patterns for AI agents.
• Knowledge of enterprise data integration, data lakes, data warehouses, semantic models, data mining, and workflow automation.
• Understanding of identity, access control, data privacy, cybersecurity, responsible AI, and audit requirements for enterprise solutions.

Responsabilités

• Translate business opportunities into production-ready AI solutions with clear use cases, requirements, and success metrics.
• Design and build AI agents, agentic workflows, AI-enhanced applications, and decision-support solutions.
• Configure agent instructions, memory, tool usage, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Determine appropriate use of single/multi-agent architectures and traditional automation.
• Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft Fabric, enterprise data platforms, APIs, apps, and business systems.
• Develop reusable platform components and testing/deployment frameworks.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, observable, and compliant with governance and privacy policies.
• Document designs, configurations, tests, and deployment procedures; support change management.
