Caterpillar Inc. in Bogotá seeks an Environmental Health & Safety professional to support the implementation and monitoring of EHS programs and associated policies.

You will help ensure regulatory compliance, train staff, and maintain EHS records in collaboration with the EHSS team. This full-time on-site role requires strong knowledge of process management, accuracy, effective communication, and problem solving, with a focus on delivering safe, compliant operations across the site.

Formación

  • Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Experience implementing and monitoring EHS programs and policies.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Role Definition

Participates in the implementation and monitoring of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and associated policies and regulations under the direction of the Principal EHS engineer or regional Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) manager. May also serve as an individual contributor on EHS projects and assignments that support and enhance operational performance and compliance under the guidance of senior EHSS team members.

  • Uses safety or personal protective equipment, e.g. safety boots and protective eyewear.
  • Prepares for emergency situations according to EHS policy.

  • Completes incident report forms after detecting risks or hazards in the workplace.

This role requires a full-time on-site presence at the office. Proficiency in English, including effective verbal and written communication skills, is required to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position and interact with diverse stakeholders
