GSK Colombia seeks a Medical Manager – Hematology to lead the local medical strategy for the Multiple Myeloma portfolio, building scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. You will support evidence generation, clinical research and medical education to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in Medical Affairs, fluency in English and Spanish, and an advanced scientific degree.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related scientific field.
• 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience within pharma/biotech with strong knowledge of Hematology and Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong understanding of Colombian healthcare ecosystem and engagement with stakeholders to support patient outcomes.
• Experience engaging Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals and scientific societies.
• Fluency in English and Spanish with ability to communicate complex medical information.

• Establish and maintain scientifically based relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
• Provide high-quality, non-promotional medical exchange on disease areas and guidelines.

• Support medical activities related to product launches, lifecycle management and education.

Position Summary

This role leads the development and execution of the local medical strategy for the Hematology portfolio in Colombia, with a focus on Multiple Myeloma. The Medical Manager will build scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, provide high-quality medical exchange, and support evidence generation, clinical research, and medical education to improve patient outcomes and advance medical impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the medical strategy and scientific engagement plan for the Hematology portfolio in Colombia, aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Establish and maintain trusted, scientifically based relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, scientific societies, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Provide high-quality, non-promotional scientific and medical exchange on disease areas, clinical evidence, treatment guidelines, and emerging data.
• Support the generation, interpretation, and communication of real-world evidence, clinical data, and scientific information relevant to Hematology.
• Partner with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Clinical, and other functions while maintaining medical independence and compliance.
• Support medical activities related to product launches, lifecycle management, clinical research, investigator-initiated research, scientific education, and evidence-based initiatives that improve patient care and access to innovative therapies.

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• 5 years of Medical Affairs experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology with strong knowledge of Hematology and a demonstrated understanding of Multiple Myeloma and its treatment landscape.
• Strong understanding of the Colombian healthcare ecosystem and ability to navigate complex treatment and access dynamics, engaging effectively with key stakeholders to support improved patient outcomes.
• Experience engaging Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, scientific societies, and other external medical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of clinical research, scientific evidence, and the pharmaceutical medical environment, combined with strong scientific communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong scientific communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualification

• Advanced scientific or medical degree, such as an MSc, PharmD, or postgraduate specialization.
• Recent experience in Multiple Myeloma and/or other hematological indications.
• Experience supporting product launches, clinical development, or lifecycle management.
• Experience working with regional or global medical teams.

Working model and location

This role is based in Colombia. The position is hybrid with a field component. You will meet external experts and clinical sites, work remotely, and attend the office for team collaboration as needed.
