Head – IT, GSC BOG

In this role, you will spearhead and drive IT excellence at the center, overseeing strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless technology delivery, mitigating risks, and optimizing processes to propel our operations forward in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizational Structure and Goals - Collaborate with the GSC Global IT Head to determine the IT organizational structure, roles, critical success factors, and overarching goals.
Strategy
- Define the Center IT strategy (short and long term) supported by the Chief Information Officer [CIO], GSC Global aligning it with the regional/global IT strategy.
- Act as a pivotal member of the GSC Center management teams, contributing to the setting of center directions and strategies.
- Lead the implementation of GSC IT Integration/Strategy and Planning projects at the Center/regional level.
- Enhance business P&L through effective management of GSC IT services and solutions.
- Manage the GSC Center IT Budget and develop business cases for required investments.
- Contribute to the convergence of local applications into the strategic product portfolio.
- Business Partner - Ensure alignment of IT activities with GSC center unit’s goals and priorities. Establish regular reviews with GSC business leaders, elevating the visibility and value of IT.
- Project Delivery - Coordinate project delivery requirements planning with the GSC Global PMO. Ensure the effective delivery of IT projects, meeting timelines and budget constraints.
- Operations - Manage the operation of local applications to support business needs effectively. Oversee the delivery of infrastructure services from both internal and external providers. Provide customer service and helpdesk support where required.
- Team Leadership and Motivation - Cultivate and sustain a motivated DGF IT Team, comprising adept managers and staff. Continuously assess the skills and competencies within the IT Team, ensuring the implementation of training and development plans to address any gaps or needs.
- Communication Management - Establish and maintain an effective communication structure, including regular weekly/monthly team meetings.
Required Skills/Abilities:- Proven track record of at least 10 years in leadership roles within IT, showcasing progressive responsibility and achievement.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is highly desirable.
Certifications: (preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) for strong project management skills.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) for IT service management.
- Additional certifications in emerging technologies or specific industry standards (if applicable
