Baker Hughes’ LEAD Field Engineer Development Program is a structured, 3.5-year path for recent engineering graduates to become field engineers. It blends classroom learning, field work, and mentoring to build technical and leadership skills across diverse environments.

You’ll rotate through competency stages, tackle real customer operations, and advance through milestones with global exposure, while traveling domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering completed within the previous 12 months.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong interest in hands-on technical work and field operations.
• Willing to travel extensively; comfortable with rotational schedules.
• Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
• Demonstrate leadership potential and teamwork.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Participate in technical bootcamps, on-the-job training, and competency development.
• Execute field operations alongside experienced engineers.
• Deploy, operate, troubleshoot and maintain technical equipment.
• Apply procedures and make decisions in dynamic environments.
• Support customers and field crews during critical operations.
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure successful execution.
• Develop problem-solving skills through hands-on troubleshooting.
• Gain experience across multiple environments through travel.
• Progress through Field Engineer levels based on performance.
• Complete capstone project and required milestones for graduation.
• Roles involve significant travel and non-standard hours.
