Baker Hughes invites engineering graduates to join the LEAD Field Engineer Development Program. This accelerated 3.5-year development track combines classroom learning, field experience, mentoring, and real customer operations to accelerate readiness for leadership roles in field engineering.

Participants will travel extensively, rotate through teams, and engage in hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and system-level challenges across diverse environments worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering within the previous 12 months.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong interest in hands-on technical work and field operations.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work rotational schedules.
• Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured technical bootcamps, on-job training, and competency-based development.
• Execute field operations alongside experienced engineers at customer sites.
• Deploy, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain technical equipment and services.
• Support customers and field crews during critical operations.
• Coordinate with operational teams, service delivery personnel and customers to ensure successful execution of work.
• Progress through competency levels based on performance and safety leadership.
• Complete capstone project and required milestones for program graduation.
