A leading software development company in Colombia is seeking a Middle Golang Engineer to help build robust back-end systems for next-generation services. You will work in a mature Agile environment alongside experienced engineers, taking ownership of product development and influencing architecture and standards. The role requires at least 2 years of Golang experience, a BS in Computer Science, and a command of analytical skills. Responsabilidades

• Develop on-board software for the next generation of Connected Vehicle Services.
• Collaborate with a team to own the end-to-end product.
• Take ownership of tasks/tickets to be implemented.
• Onboard new developers into the team.
• Support team Lead and perform code inspections.
• Perform integration testing.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Middle Golang Engineer, you’ll help shape reliable back-end systems that power next-generation connected services, turning complex business needs into high-quality software. The role matters because your work directly impacts product stability, scalability, and the daily experience of internal users. You’ll collaborate in a mature Agile environment with strong ownership, influencing architecture, quality standards, and continuous delivery. This is a chance to grow alongside experienced engineers while contributing to modern Golang-based platforms at scale.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop on-board software for the next generation of Connected Vehicle Services.
• Work within a team of like minded engineers to own the end-to-end product.
• Takes ownership of the tasks/tickets to be implemented.
• Onboards new developers into the team.
• Supports the team’s Lead, performs code inspections.
• Performs integration testing.

MUST HAVES

• At least 2 years of experience working in software development with Golang.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Technologies required: Infrastructure as code, SQL (particularly Postgres), Object storage (S3 or Azure BLOB).
• Excellent analytical and time management skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English.
