Job summary

ScotiaGBS in Bogota, Colombia seeks an Assistant Manager, Product Management, Design & Solutions to support the Global AML Transformation program. You will coordinate with Technology, AMA, Business Lines, AML Risk, PMO and others to deliver programs on time and within budget.

You will apply your analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills to define strategy, design solutions, and support the end-to-end product experience across journeys, with involvement in data and risk

Qualifications

• Prior Scotiabank experience highly preferred.
• Experience with change management and influencing stakeholders.
• Deep analytical, project management and communication experience.
• Experience and technical know-how of risk management procedures, processes, and tools.
• AML experience and understanding of the Oracle system are an advantage.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to organize problem solving.
• Proven ability to operate independently and take initiative in supporting a program strategy.
• Proven ability in execution of complex tasks under strict time pressures.
• Solid judgment, negotiation skills, and practical approach to implementation – including knowledge of Bank systems.
• Ability to balance regulatory requirements with the Bank and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support the strategy for specific product and journeys, delivering the roadmap.
• Collaborate with technology, AML risk, PMO and other stakeholders to support programs.
• Formulate technical solutions and design documentation with technical teams.
• Understand product journeys and use competition trends to inform improvements.
• Provide design documentation and guidance for end-to-end product experience.
• Assist with data queries and analysis to address business issues.
• Balance product and project metrics to achieve business goals.
• Support product implementation roadmap and release activities.
• Contribute to day-to-day controls for regulatory and AML risk compliance.
