Job summary

Command & Query is a digital product agency seeking a Product Manager to own areas of our flagship platform engagement for a national medical society. You will work with clinicians, association staff, and our NYC/ Athens/ Bishkek/ Bogotá teams to turn needs into shipped product work. This is a fully remote, full-time, mid-level role.

You will drive discovery, write specs, run interviews, and maintain a prioritized backlog while coordinating across time zones to deliver impact for clients.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of product management experience on web apps or platforms.
• Ability to write specs and tickets that engineers can build from without a follow-up meeting.
• Strong stakeholder management with clients and teams.
• Experience planning and facilitating workshops with mixed client and internal teams (virtual/in-person).
• Experience conducting user interviews or qualitative research and turning findings into decisions.
• Excellent written English for a remote, asynchronous role.
• Experience working with design and engineering in an agile workflow.
• Comfort with ambiguity and owning a domain you are not yet expert in.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more product areas end-to-end from discovery through launch.
• Write clear specifications and tickets and flag open questions for stakeholders.
• Run discovery with clinicians, staff, and board members to capture requirements.
• Lead sessions to define problems worth solving before proposing solutions.
• Facilitate ideation across client, design, and engineering and align on direction.
• Plan and run user interviews; synthesize insights for the team to act on.
• Manage a prioritized backlog with explicit impact, evidence, and effort criteria.
• Coordinate with designers and engineers across time zones (NYC, Athens, Bishkek, Bogotá).
• Lead client sessions, document decisions, and ensure quality before releases.
• Define success metrics with the client and report post-launch changes.
• Keep scope and decisions documented for client and team.
