Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant software development experience
- Strong proficiency in React or similar frontend technologies, React Native is a plus
- Proficiency in a typed backend language such as TypeScript or Go, with RESTful API experience
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or relational databases
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and system design concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot across frontend and backend environments
- Strong attention to detail when developing user interfaces for clinicians and healthcare staff
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps workflows
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools to support software development
- Ability to conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback
- Effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional healthcare teams
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and integrations to support clinical and patient workflows
- Design and maintain database structures using SQL or NoSQL technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and define technical solutions for healthcare applications
- Investigate and resolve frontend and backend issues to maintain production performance
- Translate design concepts into polished UI components for clinicians and healthcare staff
- Support cloud-based deployments and perform basic DevOps tasks
- Participate in code reviews to maintain software quality
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve code development, testing, and documentation
- Implement logging and monitoring to track system performance
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to meet healthcare delivery objectives
