Roca Alliances partners with Upshop, a SaaS platform transforming fresh food operations for retailers. The role targets a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using C#/.NET Core, Azure, and REST APIs.

You will work in an Agile team, apply patterns, mentor juniors, and leverage AI tooling for efficient coding while ensuring quality through unit and integration tests. Strong English and cloud experience preferred, Medellín office.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven enterprise software engineering experience (C#).
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular.
• End-to-end development across UI, application, and database tiers.
• Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, concurrency).
• Experience with REST API design, security (OAuth2, JWT), and cloud-native architecture.
• Ability to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools quickly.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance applications using C#/.NET Core, Azure Functions, and Azure services (Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, API Management).
• Apply design patterns, clean architecture principles, and solid computer science fundamentals to build scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Actively leverage AI tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps in an Agile environment (two-week sprints).
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with peers, and mentor junior engineers.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
