Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain web applications using a combination of frontend and backend technologies
• Collaborate with design and product teams to implement responsive, intuitive user interfaces
• Develop and maintain content management systems, including Drupal or other modern CMS platforms
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability using web development best practices
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing codebases for better performance and maintainability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and processes
• Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to the tech stack

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or similar)
• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
• CMS experience, preferably with Drupal or WordPress (custom module/theme experience a plus)
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Version control experience using Git
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with headless CMS architecture and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized development environments
• Understanding of accessibility standards and SEO best practices
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PHPUnit)
• Interest in DevOps practices or deployment workflows in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)
