Opella Healthcare Colombia S.A.S. is seeking an FP&A Operations Lead for the Americas. This regional role supports manufacturing sites in the Americas and oversees Purchase Price Variance, Yield & Substitution, Added Value, CAPEX, OPEX, and closing activities.

You will manage stakeholders, drive planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and lead internal projects. Qualifications include 7–10 years in accounting and controlling for manufacturing, strong Excel/Power BI skills, TM1 or SAP, and fluent

• 7–10 years accounting & controlling experience in manufacturing & supply.
• CPG, Consumer Healthcare or Pharma experience preferred.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, TM1 and SAP skills.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.

• Prepare data consolidation and reporting.

About the job

Regional role supporting Americas manufacturing sites: Chattanooga (USA), Ocoyoacac (Mexico) and Suzano (Brazil). The role oversees financial activities such as Purchase Price Variance, Yield & Substitution, Added Value, CAPEX, OPEX. The role actively participates during closing activities and can also lead internal projects. The role will manage different stakeholders mainly Finance Site Leads.

Main responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Planning, Budget & Rolling Forecast
• Lead financial reporting processes related to actual, forecast, & budget scenarios.
• Perform first level analysis on the actual monthly financial results (significant variances & consistency checks) during closing and forecast exercises
• Data preparation, consolidation, and reporting – focused on financial statement quality & accuracy
• Support data consolidation in systems (TM1, SAP S4/Hana, Solar/Magnitude), including cross-system mappings
• Ensure timely data reporting respecting global deadlines.
• Perform Other Finance Tasks
• Improve processes leveraging on available tools and systems
• Support FP&A Operations team on process simplification projects
• Ensure comprehensive compliance with internal controls and accounting principles
• Compliance: Ensure financial submissions are prepared in compliance with Opella corporate guidelines – including accounting & financial procedures
• Ensure proper use of accounting systems and software

About you

Experience: 7-10 years of accounting & controlling experience for manufacturing & supply, preferably in CPG, Consumer Healthcare or Pharma industries.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft tools like Excel, Power Query, Power Automate, Power BI.
• Ability to use various types of reporting and forecasting software (TM1, SAP)
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to present and provide guidance to senior management
• Experience demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to be pro-active and adaptable.
• Must possess professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, accountable and self-managed environment.
• Experience working in a multicultural & transversal environment with demanding deadlines.
• Customer focused and results orientated
• Autonomous & pro-active with the ability to work independently
• Proven capacity to work transversally with cross-functional partners, (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing etc.).
• Ability to handle and simplify complex matters and propose innovative solutions.
• Ability to challenge status quo and identify more efficient and secure ways of doing things.

Education

B.S. in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred

Languages

Fluent written and spoken English. Portuguese is a plus.
