FinOps Weekly in Medellín is seeking a FinOps Specialist to support cloud financial management across AWS, Azure, SaaS, and other platforms. You will collaborate with technology, engineering, and finance to drive cost visibility, governance, and efficient cloud usage.

The role focuses on forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and advising teams on cost-conscious cloud consumption, with exposure to enterprise budgeting and procurement processes.

Formación

• Foundational knowledge of FinOps principles and best practices.
• Experience with cloud pricing, billing structures, and cost optimization.
• Ability to analyze cloud financial data and communicate clear recommendations.
• Familiarity with cost governance processes and policies.
• At least one year in cloud financial management or IT finance.

Responsabilidades

• Support multi-cloud and SaaS cost optimization initiatives.
• Maintain cost allocation and showback models across business units.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses with stakeholders.
• Identify rightsizing opportunities and optimize reserved capacity.
• Develop cost dashboards and KPIs for business stakeholders.
