This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a genuine interest in visual storytelling and a talent for clear, descriptive writing. No formal film education or industry experience required - just a sharp eye and a knack for putting visuals into words.

What You'll Do

• Watch short film and video clips and break them down into detailed, beat-by-beat visual descriptions
• Describe camera movement, framing, shot composition, blocking, pacing, and mood
• Communicate emotional tone and atmosphere using purely visual indicators - no dialogue references
• Follow standardized formatting guidelines for scene summaries and beat-level breakdowns
• Re-watch clips as needed to capture accuracy and nuance
• Maintain consistency and quality across a high volume of scene descriptions

Who You Are

• Passionate about film, television, or visual storytelling in any form
• Able to articulate what you see on screen with clarity and precision
• Strong structured writing skills - you can organize observations into a clean, readable format
• Detail-oriented and comfortable rewatching footage to get it right
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No professional film or media experience required
