Hitachi Energy is seeking an Engineering Assistant in Colombia to support design and manufacturing of power transformers. You will ensure accurate material data, technical documentation, and project information across manufacturing processes, while collaborating with engineering, procurement, planning and production teams.

You will gain exposure to CAD tools, ERP platforms, and cross-functional project execution, contributing to quality and on-time delivery in a collaborative environment.

Formación

• Engineering degree or technical background is required.
• Experience using CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar).
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Experience managing engineering data and documentation.
• Intermediate English written and spoken proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create and release Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material master data in SAP S/4HANA.
• Maintain and update engineering project information and technical documentation.
• Coordinate communication between Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Production teams.
• Compile instruction manuals, quality certifications, technical protocols, and project documentation.
• Manage and update technical databases and supplier catalogs.
• Create new material records and support engineering data management activities.
• Prepare technical drawings and planimetry for procurement of metal-mechanical components.
• Monitor engineering KPIs and support performance reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

Your background

• Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar.

• Intermediate English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
