CRISIL in Bogotá is seeking a motivated analyst to update and maintain databases and research reports on the US Equity Market, with strong Excel skills and the ability to work under pressure.

You will collaborate with senior analysts, focus on idea generation, assess expansion/M&A viability using valuation techniques, and prepare company and people profiles for meetings with prospect firms. Excellent English is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
• Advanced degrees/certifications such as CFA or MBA are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Update periodic research reports.
• Read and understand about the industry.
• Focus on idea generation.
• Assess viability of expansion projects and/or M&A using valuation techniques (DCF) to recommend credit alternatives.
• Build material to help the team prepare for meetings with prospect companies: company profiles, people profiles, etc.

About the Role:

Work closely with Client’s team (a leading Investment Bank in USA) to update and maintain databases and research reports regarding the US Equity Market. We are looking for a highly motivated and methodical individual with solid excel skills, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate would preferably have some experience in the equity market and a very good English level.

Job Duties

Working closely with senior research analysts, associate’s responsibility will incorporate:

• Update and maintain databases (mainly Excel spreadsheets)

• Assess viability of expansion projects and/or M&A activities using valuation techniques (DCF analysis) to recommend credit alternatives.


• Build material to help the team prepare for meetings with prospect companies: company profiles, people profiles, etc.

Qualification

• - Bachelor's degree in Economics / Finance / Business Administration / Accountability


• - Advanced degrees and certifications such as a CFA and Masters in Finance/MBA are preferred.

Skills required

• Good understanding of finance and equity markets


• Experience +2 year


• Good grasp of macro-fundamental concepts


• Good knowledge of basic econometric / statistics


• Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills


• Ability to add value through idea generation at the sector or the financial levels of analysis


• Experience working with Bloomberg, SNL is preferable


• Strong attention to details, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
