Instaleap LLC in Bogotá is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to own the technical vision and architecture of our Internal Tools platform. You will design, build, and maintain scalable solutions using Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js, and mentor engineers through code reviews and guidance.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions using Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Act as the technical bridge between Operations and Engineering, ensuring alignment across teams.

• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and career development.

• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and AI.

• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Engineering stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.

• Own technical quality, security, performance, and observability across our internal products.

• Stay hands-on by contributing code while leading technical decision-making.

Your experience has been shaped by

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, including experience leading technical teams.

• Strong expertise with Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Experience designing scalable and maintainable software architectures.

• Experience working in high-growth SaaS companies, marketplaces, or startup environments.

• Proven experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, and Engineering.

• Strong understanding of software security, observability, and engineering best practices.

• English level B2 or above.
