Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in the Dominican Republic is seeking an engineer to support the introduction, improvement, and validation of medical device manufacturing processes. You will drive technical execution by contributing to engineering studies, process development, and coordinating small-scale projects with cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate to ensure robust process performance, successful product transfers, and compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) oral and writing.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Identify manufacturing issues and respond to production requests with timely engineering assistance.
• Assist in implementing process and product design changes and small-scale engineering initiatives.
• Participate in development of new products and processes from concept to manufacturing transfer.
• Support execution of process and product validations aligning with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet Product Development Process requirements for global markets.
