Job summary

Aerosapien Technologies LLC seeks an experienced Electrical BIM Designer/Modeler with strong Revit MEP skills for commercial and industrial projects. You will develop detailed BIM models, prepare construction docs, and coordinate electrical systems with other disciplines on challenging builds.

Applicants need 3–5 years in electrical BIM, deep knowledge of wiring, distribution, coordination, and field integration. Collaboration with international teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, BIM modeling, or electrical construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP (Electrical).
• Knowledge of wiring, distribution, conduit routing, and panel layouts.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks for BIM coordination.
• Experience coordinating models with field installation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Model electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, cable trays, conduits, electrical equipment, and related infrastructure.
• Prepare coordinated electrical layouts, shop drawings, sections, schedules, and installation documentation.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and field conditions to develop constructible BIM models.
• Perform electrical BIM coordination with HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and structural systems.
• Identify and resolve clashes using Revit and Navisworks.
• Incorporate site revisions, RFIs, and as-built information into BIM models.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and other BIM disciplines.
• Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, quality requirements, and applicable electrical design documentation.
• Support quantity takeoffs and material schedules when required.
