Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management and building systems, is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to join our team. You will develop, implement, and maintain EHSQ programs, conduct onsite audits, and drive safety performance across manufacturing operations.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in EHS or related field, 5+ years experience, strong ISO and risk assessment knowledge, and fluency in English and Spanish, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in EHS coordination or a similar role within a manufacturing or operational environment.
• Proficiency in ISO standards, risk assessment methodologies, and safety management systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain the JCI Integrated Business Management Systems (EHSQ).
• Conduct and coordinate regular onsite audits and inspections to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Monitor and evaluate EHS performance metrics, fostering a culture of accountability and proactive safety management.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and addressing EHS risks through effective problem-solving techniques.
• Coordinate training sessions to ensure staff awareness and adherence to EHS policies and procedures.
• Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse perspectives and ensure unified safety practices.
• Provide clear and consistent feedback to management and staff on EHS performance and compliance.
• Streamline processes to remove obstacles and enhance operational efficiency for internal and external stakeholders.
