Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, maintain, and upgrade network services.
• Analyze design documents and perform LAN/CAN/WAN administration.
• Coordinate with users to resolve network incidents.
• Translate business requirements into telecommunications solutions.
• Support strategic modernization efforts and network infrastructure enhancements.
• Assist end users and operations personnel with network interfaces.

Required Capabilities for Level 2 Network Engineer:

• Optimize system performance and data flow.
• Conduct network performance data captures.
• Reduce latency and increase throughput.
• Contribute to network and mission architecture design.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network devices and interfaces.
• Implement solutions supporting server requirements, VPNs, firewalls, VoIP, and other technologies.
• Maintain network diagrams and accreditation documentation.
• Support network equipment and develop architecture designs.
• Manage tasks and guide junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in relevant fields with six years of experience, or Bachelor's with eight years, or additional six years of experience in lieu of degrees.

Certifications:

• (IAT) Level II certification

Security Clearance: Active clearance with appropriate polygraph required.
