Job Description
We are a dynamic logistics company specializing in customs clearance and import management. With a focus on efficiency and accuracy, we navigate the complex world of customs regulations to ensure the seamless movement of goods into the United States. We would like you to be a part of our team as aLogistic Specialist. As a Logistic Specialist, you will play a vital role in our operations, managing high-volume data entries and ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations. You will work closely with our clients, vendors, and government agencies to facilitate the smooth clearance of goods.
Responsibilities
Review entry documents for accuracy and completeness.
Submit shipment ISF data within regulatory timelines.
Process and submit entries to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Coordinate with Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) as required.
Provide clearance status updates to relevant parties.
Execute file billing accurately and in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain customer relationships.
Report safety hazards promptly.
Immediately report incidents involving injury, illness, or property damage.
Wear appropriate PPE as instructed.
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Refuse any unsafe task or operation.
Participate in safety meetings and training.
Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience with logistics, especially related to trucking, is important.
Meticulous attention to detail, as there is no room for small errors.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent prioritizing, adaptability, decision-making, stress management, speed, and accuracy skills.
Exceptional ability for data entry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to sit for extended periods.
Occasional standing and walking may be required.
Capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
