The Department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for full-time, board-certified, or board-eligible child and adolescent psychiatrists to join our growing psychiatric team. Inpatient and outpatient opportunities exist in our 17-bed inpatient child and adolescent unit, outpatient child clinic, and innovative programs such as DYS Tele-Psych and Bridge, our school-based program. Teaching and research are supported and encouraged. Candidates may also have leadership opportunities directing various academic programs, including the Child and Adolescent Fellowship Program Directorship.
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri is dedicated to patient treatment, education, and research into mental illness. The department offers a full range of services, including inpatient care at the University of Missouri Psychiatric Hospital (MUPC), 24/7 emergency and hospital consultative services, and outpatient clinics for adults and children.
