Lean Solutions Group seeks a Drayage Operations Specialist in Barranquilla to manage shipment monitoring, container tracking, order handling, and coordination with drivers, customers, terminals, and internal teams to ensure efficient container movements.

The candidate should have 3+ years in drayage/logistics, strong knowledge of terminal operations and Track & Trace processes, and proven communication and organizational skills to maintain timely updates and accurate records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Drayage, Logistics, Transportation, or related operational role.
• Working knowledge of drayage terminology, container types and sizes, chassis, and terminal operations.
• Experience with terminal systems, port portals, and Track & Trace processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
• Ability to identify operational issues and communicate updates proactively.

Responsabilités

• Monitor drayage operations and shipment progress throughout the transportation process.
• Track containers through terminal systems and portals, monitoring availability, appointments, and movements.
• Perform Track & Trace activities to identify delays and proactively address operational issues.
• Review customer orders and verify shipment information for accuracy.
• Monitor and communicate ETAs and schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Create and update orders in the TMS, ensuring all required operational details are recorded.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and organize required operational documentation.
• Coordinate updates with drivers, customers, terminals, and internal teams.
• Apply knowledge of container types and sizes, chassis requirements, drayage terminology, and terminal procedures.
• Ensure orders are built correctly and stakeholders receive timely operational updates.
