Base pay range

$195,000.00/yr - $215,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, expand business relationships, and negotiate distribution agreements with assigned specialty distributors, specialty logistics, specialty pharmacies, infusion providers/GPOs and/or targeted ATC/IDNs.
  • Liaise with NSP functional departments and commercial Marketing, Operations, Market Access, Patient Services, and field teams to overcome product availability challenges and ensure a seamless product journey and customer experience.
  • Monitor channel trade partners to ensure proper performance and inventory to optimize access to therapy.
  • Proactively identify potential marketplace trends/barriers and create strategies to optimize access.
  • Oversee NS Pharma presence at strategic supply chain & trade distribution conferences.
  • Travel to NS Pharma meetings, supply chain & trade distribution accounts, and industry conferences as needed.
  • Support the development of product channel strategies, trade distribution channel design, and selection of vendors for future products, including unique features such as cold chain and cryogenic therapies.
  • Lead site readiness evaluations and activities in preparation of new product launches such as injection, infusion, cold chain and cryogenic products.
  • Monitor shipments and serve as central point of contact for shipment coordination and resolution of customer questions or complaints.
  • Develop and manage Trade policies, including Returns, Chargebacks, and any other appropriate policies.
  • Execute new product trade distribution strategy and launch plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with patient access and support services e.g. HUB, non-commercial pharmacy, PAP, bridge, etc.
  • Manage and develop a small, high-performing team responsible for trade and supply chain operations within the Commercial function.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. supply chain & trade distribution and reimbursement system.
  • Strong proficiency in contract negotiation including a track record of closing complex negotiations within the specialty pharmacy arena
  • Broad-based knowledge of the Pharma/Biotech industry, healthcare market access, and all forms of product distribution.
  • Experienced leadership and people management skills.
  • Works effectively in a cross functional, multi-cultural environment as responsibilities include collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly effective interpersonal and presentation (written and verbal) skills. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to speak, write, listen, and present information in a logical and articulate manner appropriate for the audience.
Education / Experience
  • 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry including 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain and/or trade distribution, pharmaceutical injection & infusion, and/or cold chain and cryogenic products.
  • Experience with specialty medical benefit therapies, buy-and-bill, and rare disease medicines.
  • Experience with ATC/IDNs preferred.
  • Experience managing a small team, including performance management and professional development, preferred

The annualized target salary range for this role is $195,000 to $215,000; actual salaries will vary and may be above or below this range depending on several factors, including experience, education, training, location, and merit.
