Director of Operations — What to expect

What does a Director of Operations do? You will be a leader within the department, overseeing and directing the activities of multiple campaigns alongside Operations Managers, Team Leaders, and staff assigned to these programs. Your focus will be on client satisfaction and ensuring effective operational delivery.

As Director of Operations, you will:

  • Be responsible for a wide spectrum of responsibilities and be able to multitask with ease and proficiency.
  • Maintain regular and frequent interactions with all company departments, campaign team leaders, and the management team.
  • Maintain an open line of communication between staff and senior management.
  • Manage and staff the operations assigned.
  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including monitoring staffing, providing temporary coverage and training, and delivering excellent client service and problem resolution.
  • Develop individual and team goals and implement plans to achieve objectives.
  • Guide Operations Managers in meeting team and individual goals.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Operations / Vice President of Operations in crafting operations procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in the related field, preferably at director or VP level, specializing in BPO Operations and Management or equivalent.
  • Experience managing at least 1,000 FTEs and strong computer skills, especially in Google Suite applications.
  • Proven track record of meeting and delivering targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build productive business relationships with clients and possess strong organizational, analytical, and managerial skills with a professional, courteous, and resilient attitude.
Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel
  • Onsite
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, or client engagements as per business needs.
