Outreach Recruitment Agency on behalf of a well-established Maltese client in the electrical and engineering sector is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join their team.

The role involves the safe and timely transport of materials to project sites and client locations across Malta, loading/unloading goods, maintaining delivery records, and ensuring vehicles are operated safely and efficiently.

Formación

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Delivery Driver.
• Valid driving licence Category C or C1 is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of Maltese roads and traffic regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver materials and equipment to project sites and client locations on time and safely.
• Load and unload goods and maintain delivery records.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
• Complete delivery logs and required documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintain professional conduct with clients and colleagues.

Position Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of materials, tools, and equipment to various project sites and client locations across Malta. The role also involves loading and unloading goods, maintaining delivery records, and ensuring company vehicles are operated safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of materials and equipment to various locations and project sites.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate company delivery vehicles safely.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Complete delivery logs, reports, and any required documentation.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to all company policies, road safety regulations, and health and safety procedures.
• Assist with warehouse and store duties when required.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Delivery Driver is preferred.
• Valid driving licence Category C or C1 is mandatory.
• Ability to operate a forklift will be considered an asset.
• Good knowledge of Maltese roads and traffic regulations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
