Job summary

BairesDev, a 15+ year leader in tech projects, is seeking a Delivery Director to lead a globally distributed team of PMs and delivery managers. This remote role focuses on agile governance, portfolio forecasting, and maintaining top-tier client satisfaction across multiple accounts.

You will partner with the PMO, ensure HR processes, and align delivery practices with strategic goals, while mentoring managers and driving scalable, high-impact software delivery in a fast-growing, 100% remote

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project management in software outsourcing.
• Customer-oriented and budget-focused.
• Experience managing software development projects.
• Advanced English required.
• Degree in Software Engineering or CS.

Responsibilities

• Direct project management practices using agile methodologies for your portfolio.
• Collaborate with the PMO to execute processes and strategies for your team of Project Managers.
• Ensure consistent HR policies in close collaboration with Px.
• Support your structure (delivery managers and project managers) and escalte relevant issues to the VP when needed.
• Define global forecast for your project portfolio.
• Ensure your team complies with established methodologies and processes.
• Work with Account VPs to manage complex problems with clients when needed.
• Ensure effective, professional, and transparent communication between Project Managers and Customers.
• Secure customer and team satisfaction throughout the entire project for all your clients.

Here’s what we are looking for:

• - Previous experience as a Software Engineer.
• - Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• - Advanced English level.
