Twilio is seeking a Deal Desk Senior Analyst to join our LATAM finance team. You will build complex financial models, analyze pricing structures, and guide non-standard agreements to balance risk, margin, and customer value. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Operations to drive clean quotes and compliant orders.

Remote-first role based in Colombia, with close coordination to regional teams and leadership, and opportunities to influence deal governance and process improvements.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree plus a minimum of 3 years in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Deal Desk or analytical Go-To-Market role.
  • If no degree, a minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial skills with ability to explain financial tradeoffs clearly.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with financial modeling experience.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple high-velocity requests.

Responsabilidades

  • Build and analyze financial models and pricing scenarios for standard and non-standard agreements, evaluating pricing, discounting, term length, usage commitments, and gross margin impact.
  • Partner with Sales to structure deals considering price, volume, and risk, ensuring alignment with Twilio’s guardrails.
  • Act as guardrail and educator for Sales and GTM teams, ensuring adherence to contracting policies and discount governance.
  • Own end-to-end Deal Desk workflow in Salesforce/CPQ (quote, pricing approvals, Order Form, DocuSign, closure) with data integrity.
  • Establish trusted relationships across Commercial Legal, Billing Ops, Corporate Finance, and Sales to streamline deal velocity.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Legal to review non-standard language in Order Forms aligned with policies.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support broader business decisions.
  • Drive cross-functional projects to scale Deal Desk operations and optimize workflows.

About the job

Twilio is looking for a curious, action-oriented, strong financial analyst for the Deal Desk Team who lives the Twilio Magic to support our LATAM Go-to-Market motion. This is an exciting role for an individual to gain and expand a broad spectrum of cross-functional interactions and contribute to non-standard commercial agreements by providing rigorous financial governance and structuring. This role partners closely with Finance leadership, Sales, Legal, and Operations to evaluate, structure, and execute deals in a way that is a “win-win” for both customers and Twilio while optimizing corporate margin goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive, driven professional, able to build complex financial models and analyze pricing structures, while providing data-driven, financially sound, and clearly communicated explanations and solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Build and analyze financial models and pricing scenarios for standard and non-standard agreements, evaluating critical variables including pricing, discounting, term length, usage commitments, and gross margin impact.
  • Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals by analyzing tradeoffs across price, volume, and risk, ensuring all structures align with Twilio’s financial guardrails.
  • Act as a guardrail and educator for Sales and GTM teams, ensuring adherence to internal contracting policies, approval matrices, and discount governance.
  • Own the end-to-end Deal Desk operational workflow in Salesforce/CPQ (from quote building and pricing approvals to Order Form creation, DocuSign execution, and opportunity closure), ensuring 100% data integrity and policy compliance.
  • Establish trusted working relationships across Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sales to streamline deal velocity.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Legal to review and structure non-standard contract language within Order Forms, ensuring alignment with corporate risk and revenue recognition policies.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support broader business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive and participate in cross-functional project improvement initiatives to scale Deal Desk operations, enhance systems, and optimize internal workflows.

  • *Required: Business proficiency or fluency in English, with solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, Deal Desk or an analytical Go To Market role.
  • If no degree, a minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical experience is required.
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial skills, with a firm understanding of core financial concepts and the ability to explain financial tradeoffs clearly.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, with proven experience building financial models, logic formulas, and scenario analyses.
  • A diligent, detail-oriented skillset, with the ability to manage multiple high-velocity requests simultaneously while remaining extremely organized under tight deadlines.
  • A self-starter with a “can-do” attitude who is comfortable asking clarifying questions and operating with high integrity that aligns with the Twilio Magic.
  • Desired: Knowledge and/or experience using online sales and/or document management tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, CLM, and JIRA.
