Keyrus is hiring a Data Scientist Consultant in Bogotá to architect analytics strategies transforming customer and business data into measurable outcomes. You will blend advanced analytics, ML, visualization, and consulting to guide executives and drive commercial results.

Requirements include 5+ years in data science or analytics, strong Python/SQL, and experience with BI tools (MicroStrategy/Power BI/Tableau) and AWS. Hybrid work model with on-site days requested.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• English level B1.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Customer Analytics.
• Experience in financial services or banking, ideally supporting debit or credit card businesses.
• At least 2–3 years in financial services risk and/or fraud modeling.
• Certifications in Data Science, Cloud, ML, or Analytics are assets.

• Design, optimize, and evolve BI dashboards using MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, and similar platforms.
• Mentor junior consultants with technical guidance and quality reviews.

What You'll Architect

As a Data Scientist Consultant, you will architect analytical strategies that transform customer and business data into measurable commercial outcomes. Combining advanced analytics, machine learning, visualization, and a strong consulting mindset, you will help business leaders make smarter decisions while shaping the evolution of modern data-driven organizations.

• Architect end-to-end analytical initiatives that address customer lifecycle, product performance, and business growth objectives
• Design and implement customer segmentation, propensity, and behavioral models that improve campaign targeting and business performance
• Define experimentation frameworks using A/B testing, cohort analysis, and KPI measurement to evaluate marketing and product initiatives
• Transform complex datasets into strategic insights that identify opportunities across debit and credit card portfolios
• Lead analytical delivery within dynamic BAU environments, balancing multiple priorities based on business value and stakeholder impact
• Design, optimize, and evolve Business Intelligence dashboards using MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, and similar platforms
• Act as the primary analytical advisor for business stakeholders, translating data into actionable recommendations and strategic decisions
• Bridge business objectives with technical execution by defining clear analytical requirements and solution approaches
• Mentor junior consultants through technical guidance, quality reviews, and knowledge sharing
• Influence analytical best practices, technology decisions, and the evolution of the data ecosystem, including AWS-based solutions

What You Bring

Qualifications / Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• English level B1
• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Customer Analytics
• Experience working within financial services or banking environments, ideally supporting debit or credit card businesses
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in financial services and risk and/or fraud modeling.
• Certifications in Data Science, Cloud, Machine Learning, or Analytics platforms are considered an asset

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python for statistical analysis, machine learning, and data science workflows
• Advanced SQL skills with experience managing and analyzing large-scale datasets
• Experience developing customer segmentation models using methodologies such as RFM and clustering
• Experience building propensity and behavioral prediction models
• Hands-on knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks including Scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM
• Experience designing and measuring experiments through A/B testing and campaign performance analysis
• Strong expertise with Business Intelligence platforms including MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent solutions
• Experience working with analytics and data environments on AWS
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions while working directly with client stakeholders
• Direct experience within payment ecosystems, debit/credit card products, or VISA-related initiatives
• Knowledge of PySpark and distributed data processing frameworks
• Experience designing or supporting ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Understanding of marketing attribution models and campaign optimization methodologies
