WPP Media in Colombia is seeking an Associate Director to join the Global Operations Centre. You will collaborate with teams across the US, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact data reporting and application solutions, building robust RESTful APIs and web services, and ensuring code quality through unit tests.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on PHP development, experience with CodeIgniter or similar frameworks, MySQL, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Role Summary And Impact

As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for an Associate Director who will:

• Participate in the full application and data reporting development lifecycle—including planning, design, development, testing, migration, and production support.
• Build, maintain, and integrate robust RESTful APIs and Web Services.
• Write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit and integration tests).

Skills And Experience

Technical Skills

• PHP Expertise :6+ years of hands‑on experience in full-stack PHP web development and web application architecture.
• Frameworks: Proficiency with modern PHP MVC frameworks (CodeIgniter, or similar).
• Database & SQL: Strong experience with relational database design, query optimization, and SQL development (particularly MySQL).
• Front-End Development: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end libraries/frameworks (jQuery/Bootstrap).
• API Integration: Proven expertise building and consuming third-party RESTful APIs and Web Services.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Demonstrated experience writing unit and integration tests to ensure reliable code delivery.

Nice To Have Skills

• Background or experience in advertising technology, media planning, or ad-trafficking systems.
