Applaudo is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to build reliable integrations and transform complex data into accurate, actionable information. The role focuses on ETL pipelines using TypeScript/Node.js and Python, integrating Zuora REST APIs with a GCP data warehouse, and ensuring data quality and reliability across the stack.

You will collaborate asynchronously with an international team, own monitoring and troubleshooting, and contribute to scalable data movement within a modern cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, integration development, or related roles.
• Production ETL/data-integration pipelines using TypeScript/Node.js.
• Strong Python experience focused on data-pipeline development.
• Hands-on with GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
• Experience integrating REST APIs with OAuth 2.0, pagination, error handling, and retries.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with complex data warehouse schemas.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines between Zuora REST APIs and a GCP data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain integration components using TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Manage transformation logic for billing events, subscriptions, invoices, payments, and revenue data.
• Work within existing architecture, patterns, conventions, and CI/CD workflows.
• Develop data pipelines using GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
• Implement pipeline monitoring, alerting, error handling, retry logic, and data-quality controls.
• Write complex SQL validation queries to ensure parity between sources and warehouse.
