Applaudo is seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale reliable data pipelines across cloud environments. You will work on API integrations, transformation logic, and warehouse validation within GCP-based data ecosystems.

You will join a forward-thinking, AI-native organization that emphasizes ownership, async communication, and production engineering discipline, collaborating with distributed teams and US-based stakeholders.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional Data Engineering, ETL, or Data Integration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/Node.js in production ETL environments.
• Hands-on experience with GCP data services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
• Proven REST API integration experience including OAuth 2.0, pagination, error handling, and retries.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex warehouse queries, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience with production data pipelines and existing architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain production ETL pipelines connecting REST APIs with GCP data warehouses.
• Develop data integration components using TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Create data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.
• Implement transformation logic for billing/subscription data and revenue data.
• Maintain REST API integrations with authentication, pagination, retries, and error handling.
• Support monitoring, logging, and data quality checks.
• Write complex SQL queries for source-to-warehouse validation.
• Collaborate with architecture stakeholders on validation requirements.
• Investigate and resolve data issues; follow CI/CD and coding standards.
• Provide clear status updates in an async, distributed team.
